László graduated in 1990 at the Faculty of Pedagogy, University of Szeged and in 1993 at the Faculty of Marketing, Budapest University of Economics. He worked as a lecturer at the College of Nyíregyháza (Department of International Relations and Cultural Management), then got involved actively in the implementation of the pre-accession instruments of the European Union. After focusing on business development as a training director at a non-profit organisation, he became the managing director of the first regional development agency in Hungary, implementing regional development programmes. In this position he established a wide national and international professional network, initiated – and coordinated – several innovative projects. He has been involved in regional and urban development for over 20 years.

He is one of the founders of MEGAKOM Development Consultants and EX ANTE Consulting Ltd., and currently works as the managing director of MEGAKOM. As a senior consultant he is working primarily on EU-funded regional and urban development projects. He specialises in planning and implementing complex, integrated regional and urban development programmes. He is an excellent organizer and has strong interpersonal skills.

In his free time, László loves to do outdoor sports activities – playing tennis, biking, hiking, canoeing in the summer and skiing in the winter. He loves the Tokaj wine area and dedicates some of his free time to help its development. He lives in Nyíregyháza with his family.
